Nevada!

Arizona!

Utah!

These are the 3 states I traveled in doing my spring break vacation with my host family.

I saw SO MUCH. We landed in Las Vegas and rented a car which we drove to Utah, where my host family rented a huge AirBnb cabin with 3 bedrooms, 4 beds, and amazing location which was on the outside of a small town. We had a lot of fun at this cabin and enjoyed the nature around it, the next day we went to the amazing Zion National Park, where we hiked all day and found cravings in stones from thousand years ago. It was such a great experience!!

We then went to Bryce Canyon on a rainy day. It was still as beautiful as I imagined. The canyon was enormous, and we had a nice tour guide who talked about the history of the canyon, which was awesome. We also visited the Red Canyon Slot which is these amazing rocks where there will be flowing water through, they're formed so beautiful because of the water. It was amazing walking around and seeing how the water through time changed their looks. The last thing we did was going on a tour on these ARV cars, where we were driven around a desert kinda of landscape. We saw dinosaur footprints, we went sand tubing and drove extremely was around, which to be honest was so AWESOME! A Great way to end out adventure in Utah.

When we were done exploring Utah and the things the state had to offer, we left our AirBnb and drove out to Arizona to see Grand Canyon and it's beautiful nature. And yes! It was just as amazing as one could imagine. The canyon was enormous and scarily deep. We used our time there to explore the different houses close to the canyon where there was showed pictures, stories and sold souvenirs. We stayed at a hotel right by the canyon, where my host family gave me my own room (which was a King sized bed, WUHU). It was nice with some alone time, but I had to go early to bed because we were planning on watching the sunrise over Grand Canyon the next morning. And the sunrise was beautiful. I'm so glad I saw it. The shadows it made on the canyon was amazing.

We left Arizona a couple of hours after sunrise to go to our last destination which was Las Vegas!!

We drove through the desert on the highway for 4-5 hours. It was a nice time to take a nap, but also a great time to just sit, relax and enjoy the beautiful nature.

We stopped at Hoover Dam 1 hour away from Las Vegas to see the great creation of one of the biggest dams. I was speechless when I saw it. It was so big and the history behind it was sad, but also amazing. honestly, I think it's crazy how humans can build such great things.

Well, we continued our trip and we finally arrived in Las Vegas, and I know they say NY never sleep, but honestly, that description fits Vegas Way better. There's so much light, life, music, gaming, shopping etc in that city, and its constantly going (24/7). I'm so happy I got to see that place, but gosh, I would never be able to live there. It's a party city with a bunch of hotels, gambling machines everywhere and loud music.

After 2 days in Las Vegas, I was excited to go back home to MN. But this trip was so much more than I could've asked for and I am truly grateful for the experience.
