2 Months Have Gone By (FAST)

I don’t know why I started my travel diary (blog) this late, but it just hit me, that all of my thoughts, feelings, and experiences here in the US will come and go, so if I wanna get the emotions and experiences back in the future, I can go to this website and kind of get a taste of my feelings as they were when I was aboard.

A bit about me and my life in the US:

I’m a 19-year-old girl from Aarhus, Denmark. I currently live in Minnesota which is the 32nd state of U.S.A. I’m living the suburban life in a city called Maple Grove, which is about 20-30 minutes outside of the two big cities Minneapolis and St. Paul (which is the capital of Minnesota).

The reason why I’m living in Minnesota for 13 months is that I got a work here

as an Au pair. I’m living with the sweetest’ family by the name Hutt and I’m taking care of the two children in the family, a girl on 9 and a boy on 12. They’re absolutely adorable, funny and incredibly smart. I already love the family so much, mostly because they’ve taken me in as being a part of the family but also because they’ve shown me so much of the American lifestyle and culture, which I find so important for my stay in the US.

To sum up I just want to inform, that this blog will be used as my personal diary. You’re more than welcome to follow my journey if you want to.
